FEATURE PROJECT: Metropolitan at the Nine – VAULT Bar

Venue: The project is located in the century-old bank vaults beneath the Cleveland Trust Rotunda, which is home to the upscale handcrafted cocktail lounge, VAULT.

Project Description:

The Metropolitan at the Nine – VAULT Bar project required a custom lighting solution to complement the unique and historic atmosphere of this luxury venue. A total of 12 frameless LED panels were used, each measuring 8mm (5/16 inches) thick. These LED panels were installed over a ¾ inch thick plywood substrate, ensuring a flat surface for the stone top.

To avoid any visible seam lines between the panels, a 6mm (¼ inch) gap was left between the LED panels and the back of the stone. This created a small space to allow for even illumination across the entire surface, preventing dark lines where the panels joined. The result was a beautifully illuminated bar surface that serves as a stunning centerpiece in the VAULT lounge, adding both elegance and functionality to the space.
