Venue: This project was located in the guest bathroom of a private residence in Miami, owned by a high-end home builder. The bathroom was designed to be a stunning focal point, complementing the adjacent bar and entertainment area.

Project Description:

The Private Residence Boslere Family Residence project was aimed at creating a visually striking bathroom centerpiece through the use of backlit onyx. A total of three frameless LED panels were supplied for the project.

One large LED panel was used to illuminate the onyx backsplash, creating a radiant, even glow. Another custom LED panel, featuring cutouts for the fixtures, was used to light up the countertop, while a smaller LED panel was placed on the front face edge to illuminate the miter joint where the countertop’s top and front edge meet.

To ensure proper illumination, the contractor used a 6mm acrylic sheet to create a small gap between the back of the stone and the LED panels. This spacing allowed for even light diffusion without visible seams or dark spots. Additionally, dimmable LED power supplies were included to allow for adjustable lighting, creating the perfect ambiance for the space.
