FEATURED PROJECT: Cristallo Quartzite Kitchen Niche – Manville Residence – Milton, Georgia

For this custom kitchen project in Milton, Georgia, the homeowners wanted to turn their stunning Cristallo Quartzite slab into a glowing backsplash feature behind the stove area. Working in coordination with their local installer, we supplied a complete backlighting solution using our ultra-thin frameless LED light panels. The total illuminated area measured 103.5” x 72” and was lit using 12 custom-sized LED panels, each measuring 24” x 25.87”, edge-lit and pre-wired for fast and easy on-site connection. The panels were configured at 3500K, providing a warm, inviting glow that highlights the rich veining and crystalline structure of the Cristallo Quartzite. The lighting was paired with a dimmable power setup, giving the client full control over the brightness depending on the mood or time of day. This is one of the best ways to reveal the unique characteristics of translucent stone: subtle glows at low levels, dramatic depth and texture when fully illuminated.
